March 2023 Update

Our team is working hard and making good progress with the new mast. As advised previously, we expect the new Bilsdale Mast to come into service during Spring 2023.

Project Restore is a huge undertaking, which, along with the location and nature of the build, means that we can’t provide a more precise timeframe just yet. The new mast - at more than 300 metres tall - will be one of the UK’s tallest structures, and its construction has involved more than 100 workers.

We will, of course, be updating through this website, local media and elsewhere when there are more precise details to share.
